Meet the Compassionate Minds Behind Core Wellness

Amy Koziarski,

LISW-S, Owner of Core Wellness
EMDR APPROVED CONSULTANT

Hello! I am so happy you have taken your first step to emotional healing. I have been in the mental health field for over 20 years and have worked with several different populations including: those suffering from issues surrounding abandonment, physical and sexual abuse, traumatic loss of a child, grief and loss of a loved one, miscarriage and infertility, racial discrimination and abuse, as well as victims of satanic ritual abuse. I enjoy working with a diverse population and have treated clients ranging from the ages of 2- 91. These experiences have granted me knowledge and ability to “meet clients where they are”. I have an open, honest and active therapeutic approach. I am an EMDR/EMDR 2.0 solution focused therapist and understand that healing past traumas/issues offers clients the ability to enjoy the present and allow for a more peaceful future.

I am currently offering EMDR intensive therapy sessions ranging from 2, 3 or 4 hours.  Longer sessions are available upon special scheduling.  These sessions are set up to uncover and heal past traumas, stuck beliefs or anything else you are not moving past as quickly as you would like in traditional therapy.

By using these longer EMDR intensive sessions, we are able to make progress much more quickly because we are not being interrupted by starting and stopping and losing ground between sessions. These sessions allow for clients to make an incredible amount of progress in a short time. If you are interested or want to know more about this process please give us a call!

Carrie Mendenhall, LPCC

Hello! I am a licensed professional clinical counselor with over ten years of experience. I genuinely enjoy walking with others on their journeys to becoming their best version of their self. I have experience working with clients from ages 2-80, and my clients have described me as knowledgeable, relatable, and judgement-free. My goal is to develop strong relationships and help individuals feel completely comfortable, so they are able to process difficult memories in ways that promote healing and stability. I work with people who are looking to work through depression, anxiety, parenting issues, and trauma, often using CBT and EMDR techniques. Let’s walk together on your journey toward healing.

Adrienne Finley MSW, LSW
(UNDER SUPERVISION OF AMY KOZIARSKI)

Hi! My name is Adrienne Finley, a Master’s level Licensed Social Worker. I have 17 years of experience in the field of social work. I have since expanded my experience to include clinical social work. I am EMDR trained. During trauma, our brain processes and stores memories incorrectly. This incorrect storage can lead to past memories feeling very present. If you feel like you keep recycling your symptoms of trauma, I invite you to give me a call. I look forward to assisting you in the healing process. I offer a safe, empathetic, client-centered environment and am a LGBTQ+ affirming therapist.

Nick Rybak MSW, LSW
(UNDER SUPERVISION OF AMY KOZIARSKI)

Hello, my name is Nick and I am glad you have decided to start your healing journey with me. I am a licensed social worker and have been in the field for three years. I earned my master's degree from Bowling Green State University in May of 2020 and through both intern & professional experience, have worked with clients who are living with HIV, survivors of domestic violence, individuals and the families of individuals living with dementia, and individuals entering and maintaining the substance abuse recovery process. My approach is solutions and goal focused, with an emphasis on building coping skills that will last. I believe in meeting the client where they are, striving toward achievable goals, and achieving consistency.

Keyana Galloway MSW, LSW
(UNDER SUPERVISION OF AMY KOZIARSKI)

I am excited to partner with you toward health and wellness. As a therapist, my mission is to provide a safe environment to foster vulnerability, free of judgment, so that overall quality of life is improved. I hope to empower you to meet all of life’s goals as you process stressors and various traumas. I respect individuality and am committed to tailoring the wellness journey to those I am serving. No one has to go through life’s adverse experiences alone. I have 6 years of experience in the area of mental health. I received my Master’s in Social Work from Campbellsville University. I completed Certified Trauma Professional Training led and facilitated by Trauma Experts: Dr. Eric Gentry, Ph.D., D.A.A.E.T.S. and Dr. Robert Rhoton, Psy.D., LPC, D.A.A.E.T.S. I am also trained in EMDR. I specialize in treating trauma in adults, adolescents, and children. Other areas of focus include anxiety and depressive disorders, stress management, and grief and bereavement.

“Our wounds are often the openings into the best and most beautiful parts of us.”

Breanna DeSandro, LPCC, CTRS

Hello! I am honored to be a part of your healing journey. I recognize this takes a leap of faith and courage to venture onto this path. I am committed to providing a warm, genuine, honest, and safe atmosphere in order to foster vulnerability and healing. I believe all human beings have inherent worth, thus I am passionate about helping you recognize your worth and develop the ability to embrace all parts of yourself. Therapy is a process that involves peeling back layers. Therapy can be painful but know that it can also be fun! My therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing. However, I also utilize other modalities as there is no one-size-fits-all.
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist. I received my Master’s in Professional Counseling from Spring Arbor University and Bachelor’s in Recreational Therapy from Eastern Michigan University. I come with 10 years of mental health experience in providing individual, family, and group therapy in both outpatient and inpatient settings. I am EMDR trained and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I am comfortable working with individuals from ages 14 – 99+ wanting to heal from trauma, grief, eating disorders, relationship issues, anxiety, and depression.

Megan Koralewski LPC

Hey there! I am a licensed clinical therapist and EMDR trained clinician. I believe the most important factor for progress and success in therapy is the relationship established between a client and therapist. It is my priority to be authentic, genuine, and empathetic and meet my clients where they are. You are the expert of your life and your story, I am here to help listen and help navigate your next chapter. I welcome a diverse population and have worked with presenting concerns such as grief and loss of a loved one, depression, anxiety, trauma and PTSD, behavior problems in children, personality disorders, and difficulties adapting to the unpredictable changes in life. Let's start this journey toward healing together.

Hello! I am a licensed therapist with 6+ years of experience working with mental health and addiction recovery for older teens and adults. I believe that healing past wounds creates new foundations for growth. I prioritize progress over perfection and I believe direction is more important than speed. If you find that you have a difficult time with perfectionism, control, verbalizing your emotions or needs, vulnerability, relaxation without guilt, high expectations/pressure, and making connections with other people then I might be a good fit to walk with you through your journey. My primary therapeutic modalities are Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I believe through skill development, self exploration/enquiry, and resolving wounds you can be empowered to reach your goals. I have experience working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD/ADD, and more. I am LGBTQ+ affirming. I believe in starting where you’re at and working collaboratively towards your goals. Let’s take the first step towards growth!
